AI agent sends multiple replies and responds to old synced WhatsApp messages

We are experiencing two separate issues with the WhatsApp AI agent:

1. The agent sometimes sends multiple replies to a single customer message. When the customer sends two messages quickly, the agent may send more than 7 replies, making the conversation appear unorganized and spammy.

2. When WhatsApp messages are synchronized, the AI agent starts responding to old synchronized messages. It mixes old conversations with current topics and sends many unrelated replies.

Please investigate both issues.

To clarify, the primary issue occurs even when the customer sends only one message and no additional messages are sent.

A single incoming WhatsApp message can cause the AI agent to send between 1 and 4 separate replies. Therefore, this issue is not caused only by customers sending multiple messages quickly or by the response delay setting.

Sending two messages quickly only makes the existing problem worse and can result in more than 7 replies.
