[Feature]: AI Assisted Conversions for Units #1160

Description

What problem does this solve?

A lot of foods do not convert neatly between the way people measure them and the way they are stored in the app. Someone might know they had 1 cup of Greek yogurt, but the food entry may only support grams. When that happens, users are left guessing or looking it up themselves.

Describe the feature you'd like

I’d like to add AI-assisted food conversions for cases where units are not directly compatible. For example, if someone enters 1 cup of Greek yogurt but the food is tracked in grams, the app could provide a close estimated conversion instead of only allowing direct unit matches. The goal would not be to replace exact conversions, but to help users log foods more easily when a reasonable estimate is possible. Ideally, the app would use known serving data when available and fall back to AI for food-specific estimates, with the result clearly labeled as approximate.

Which area does this relate to?

Nutrition tracking

Nice to have

Alternatives you've considered
