Describe the solution you'd like
The forwarder that launches TWLMenu++ from the 3DS HOME Menu should have a unique banner animation and a high-resolution icon (instead of looking like any other DSiWare icon).
Maybe it could also have a unique sound (although the default DSiWare sound is pretty appropriate for TWLM).

I haven't considered any alternatives.

Additional context
The hi-res icon should be pretty easy. I have no experience with 3DS banners, so I don't know how long it would take.

This is not possible, it's installed as a DSiWare to the 3DS menu so it appears as one

you could theoretically have a 3DS mode app that forwards into it like YANBF, but that would add complexity and make loading slower

There was, actually. It's called TWLoader, and was made before TWiLight Menu++ (known as SRLoader at the time) was a thing.
In order to avoid maintaining two projects which do pretty much the same thing (as it'd be time-consuming to do so), TWLoader was discontinued in favor of TWiLight Menu++.
