Only version 1.0.230 works. Versions 231 and 232 don't.

Same here. tabby-1.0.230-macos-arm64 works fine. Anything newer is apparently damaged and can't be opened. I am on Tahoe 26.4.1.

The dev did not sign it. To fix:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Tabby.app
codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Tabby.app

1. https://github.com/Eugeny/tabby/releases/tag/v1.0.232 is unsigned
2. For M1+ mac os follow @rodalpho 's great suggestion
3. Ideally this is resolved shortly 🤞
