Route Yaml vs XML

Hello, what are the differences between implementing a Camel route in XML versus Yaml in Kaoto? Which of the two methods is better, or what advantages does one have over the other?

Hello,
In general YAML DSL vs. XML DSL is just a matter of preference. The upstream Apache Camel team has been maintaining those to be compatible from functionality PoV. One historical motivation YAML DSL was introduced was to align with the Kubernetes Custom Resource.
I personally prefer XML DSL, just because it's easier to find an error in the XML than in YAML when I look at the source. Just my two cents.
