Description

What happened:
I clicked the pause button during an attack, but nothing happened for ~10 seconds.

What I expected to happen:
The pause button pauses the attack instantly

Steps to reproduce

1. Start an attack using any evaluator
2. Allow the agent to finish 1 turn
3. Click the pause button
