Hello Momentum team,

I would like to propose adding FIDO2 authentication support to the firmware.

Would it make sense to extend the current U2F app to support FIDO2, or should this be implemented as a separate application?

I’m open to feedback regarding feasibility and implementation details.

would make more sense to put it into the existing app, why go through the effort of making a new one from scratch

That makes sense, thanks for the clarification.

Since FIDO2 introduces CTAP2 and more complex credential management, I wanted to confirm whether extending the current U2F app would be architecturally clean.

I’ll review the existing implementation and see how feasible it is to expand it.
