Acordian webpart 'manage tabs' window does not close

On addition of new tabs for accordian webpart, after making the changes when we try to close the window it simply doesnt do anything. The data on the manage window becomes blank and thats it.

The same behaviour with the bar chart web part. Manage window doesnt close.

Same issue here , on my local workbench it works fine but doing it on my dev workbench I get an error.

With any action based on a modal window like above the window gets stuck with the blank screen. Not just with accordian but with all the webparts
