First off, thanks for creating OpenSuperWhisper - it's great. Just wanted to share some confusion I had about which model was selected.
Description:
In the Settings > Model tab, there are two separate selection states — one for the active Whisper model and one for the active Parakeet
model — and both show a green checkmark at the same time. This makes it unclear which model is actually being used for transcription,
since the engine toggle (Parakeet / Whisper) is what ultimately determines that.
A user with one model downloaded per engine will see two green checkmarks and have no clear visual signal about which one is active.
Suggested fix:
Only show a single green checkmark — on the model that is actively being used for transcription. This means the checkmark should only
appear on a Whisper model when Whisper is the selected engine, and only on a Parakeet model when Parakeet is the selected engine. Models
belonging to the inactive engine would show no checkmark (or a dimmed/inactive indicator).
This way, the single checkmark naturally draws the eye and communicates "this is what's running," without requiring any extra
explanation.
