"Remember Track Selection" Not working correctly.

I just tested this on Naruto, where I have a Japanese and English track available seperately. In my default audio track ordering, I have (1) Japanese and (2) English since I tend to watch anime in Japanese preferrably. There are some anime like naruto though where I prefer the english audio track so I manually change the audio track to english. When I click off the stream and click on continue watching with english selected, it defaults back to the japanese audio even though I have "Remember Track Selection" enabled. Is there something overriding this setting in stremio to prevent it from working?

Also an issue that I've noticed with the skip intro and skip outro notification is that they sometimes tend to come up randomly in the middle of a stream when there isnt actually an intro or outro to skip. This lasts maybe for 10 seconds and then disappears again.

Also is 'remember track selection' supposed to work per binge group or is it per series?

1. About the 'remember track selection', I might have broken that in my attempt to make subtitles and audio selection more precise. I will have a look at it sometime and try to make it work again

2. About the stray notifications, they happen because currently, Kai looks for embedded chapters, if there are any, and falls back to searching for transitions (black frames and silent moments) if chapters are missing. This is prone to false positives but I've tuned it the best I could and there shouldn't be too many left. I am also working on a better implementation at the moment that will be released at some point after I manage to make it more stable than the current one.

In future releases, I plan to also add IntroDB integration as well, which is a community driven intro database where people manually add timestamps for intros.

I think it is just the smart-track-selector.lua script since it essentially runs everytime mpv is opened in stremio. Technically 'remember track selection' does work but it instantly gets overridden by the script which runs everytime a new stream or video is opened via mpv. Perhaps if there was a way to prevent execution of the script if there is a "remembered" history in mpv for "continue watching" stream? Also forgot to add that 'remember track selection' does not persist for consecutive streams either (in the same binge group).

That's what I meant about the track selection. I've developed smart_track_selector as a way to have more control over tracks, but I didn't take into account about the native remember setting. I'll have to implement a bypass probably.

Hey, just saw the new update for 4.2.0, 'remember track selection' works perfectly now! The last remaining problem I am having is a couple false positives for the skip intro notification. This issue occurred notably on Naruto s3 ep41 and I have recorded it just to show you how often the notification disappears and reappears. I can do my best to show you the exact stream I am using through this image.

This is a known issue and a limitation of the system itself. It's a trade off that users have to accept for files that do not have embedded chapters and fallback to real time detection during playback. If the notification spam bothers you, you can turn them off from Settings and just press Tab when you need to skip.

It doesn't bother me just thought I'd let you know about issues as a "tester" but heavy user of your fork of stremio. I cannot go back to normal stremio after using Kai. For now, I just modified the config.lua file and increased the Notification_Cooldown to 50s to prevent the false positives.

Let me know how the cooldown works out for you. I completely forgot about that variable existence. I've been lucky lately and all content I'm currently watching seems to have chapters so I'm not experiencing much the spam notifications.

If you can, and it's not much trouble for you, slowly build a list of streams that spam notifications here, over time, so I can test them myself and see if I can reduce them. I'd need the specific filename, or at least the group, to find them. Your example above is helpful.
