Can this work without knowing EV SOC? I just need solar charging |
|
Hi @antbald , Great integration, I've just set it up with my Growatt hybrid inverter, Zaptec Go (3-phase), and Tesla Model Y. One issue I hit: the surplus-to-amperage conversion in For example, with 3,000 W surplus the integration calculates 13 A and commands the charger at 13 A — but the charger actually draws 13 × 3 × 230 = ~8,970 W, well above the available solar. Two feature suggestions:
Happy to test if you implement it! |

I want to use this, but I am having trouble determining if a charger is Tuya or not. I have a 40 amp (breaker) charge circuit (for running up to 32 amp charging) off my off-grid solar home (24kW max - two 12000XP inverters in parallel). Can anyone suggest some brands of 32 amp chargers (J1772) are Tuya? Of course it could be a higher amp charging system that I use you implementation to block the higher amperages. |
Uh oh!

Hello guys, I'm looking for new ideas and features to develop and implement in this solution to make the central hub for EV Charging. Any ideas o features you would like to see in the upcoming version?
Best,
Antonio
