Notice Regarding DPI

Plain DNS is only usable within the allowed Indonesian and Singaporean IP range to prevent DDOS attacks. If you need your IP address to be allowed to be listed or want to request a list of allow-listed IPs, please contact us or join our Discord Server / Telegram Group or WhatsApp Group.

For Internet Service Providers (ISPs) that use Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), please use BebasIT / BebasID IT to bypass DPI or turn on IPv6 and force the DNS to use Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) if the ISP supports it.

For Internet Service Providers (ISPs) that block DoH/DoT domains, please contact us at dukungan@bebasid.com for the alternative domain to be able to use the BebasID DNS service.

Signs if the ISP is using DPI:

HTTP redirecting to lamanlabuh.aduankonten.id	While HTTPS throwing the ERR_CONNECTION_RESET/PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

BebasIT / BebasID IT

BebasIT / BebasID IT is derivative repo of BebasID containing third-party application for OS system or Modem/Router Script for bypassing Deep Packet Inspection (DPI).

Anti-DPI Tools and Methods

Application:

There are 3 Operating Systems that have already been tested for DPI bypass capabilities.

Windows

• GoodbyeDPI
• GreenTunnel (NodeJS + NPM)
• PowerTunnel (JRE)

macOS

• GreenTunnel (NodeJS + NPM)
• PowerTunnel (JRE)

Linux

• GreenTunnel (NodeJS + NPM)
• PowerTunnel (JRE)
• Zapret (Currently still under testing.)
• Geneva (Hard Method)

Script:

There are 2 Modem/Router systems that have already been tested for DPI bypass capabilities.

OpenWRT

Note for Anti-DPI Tools and Methods

OS Application:

Windows, macOS and Linux

• Not all versions of Windows will work with GoodbyeDPI. For example, Windows 7 does not have any updates, and older Windows needs KBxxxxxx.
• GreenTunnel/PowerTunnel depends on "luck" to bypass DPI (does not mean that GreenTunnel/PowerTunnel cannot bypass DPI).
• Zapret does not include DoH within tpws.
• Geneva is considered a hard method due to manual installation.

Modem/Router Script:

OpenWRT and MikroTik

• The script depends on "Luck" to bypass DPI (which does not mean that OpenWRT and MikroTik cannot bypass DPI).

Additional Note for Anti-DPI Tools and Methods:

• For OS Application in this repo, do not use an auto-update scheme to the latest version because a new application feature might not be useful.
• For Modem/Router Script in this repo, an auto-update scheme is used for the latest version.

Why BebasID and BebasIT / BebasID IT are separate?

• Easing control of application suitability.
• If applications like GoodbyeDPI, Green Tunnel, PowerTunnel, Zapret, and Geneva are included within the bebasid repo, more data would be consumed. In many cases, people use the git clone command when downloading bebasid, which causes the Mac or Linux version of the app to be downloaded as well in Windows.
• New project.
• To make BebasID look more formal.
