AI Agencee is free and open-source software. Sponsorship keeps the project maintained, documented, and growing.

Why Sponsor?

  • The CLI, engine, MCP bridge, and all packages are free forever under the MIT licence
  • Sponsorship directly funds maintainer time for bug fixes, new features, documentation, and community support
  • Enterprise organisations with compliance requirements benefit most from the audit logging, RBAC, PII scrubbing, and multi-tenant isolation built into the engine — sponsoring signals that you value this work being sustainable

How to Sponsor

  • GitHub Sponsors (preferred): github.com/sponsors/binaryjack
    Payments processed by GitHub / Stripe. GitHub Sponsors does not charge platform fees to sponsors.

  • Enterprise arrangements: open an Enterprise Inquiry to discuss invoicing, DPA requirements, and custom agreements under Swiss law.

Legal & Tax Notes (Switzerland)

All sponsorship funds are received by AI Agencee, based in Switzerland.

  • Sponsorship payments are taxable income for the recipient under Swiss federal and cantonal tax law (DBG Art. 16; cantonal equivalents)
  • VAT (MWST): sponsorship is currently below the CHF 100,000 annual threshold for mandatory Swiss VAT registration. No VAT is added to GitHub Sponsors payments at this time. This will be updated if/when VAT registration applies.
  • Sponsors in the EU: if your organisation is VAT-registered and you receive a counter-performance (logo, support), this may be a B2B service subject to reverse-charge VAT in your jurisdiction. Consult your tax adviser.
  • Receipts: GitHub Sponsors provides receipts via Stripe. If you require a Swiss-format invoice (e.g. with CHF amount, reference to AHV/VAT number), contact the maintainer.
  • This is not a donations structure via a foundation or association (Verein/Stiftung). There is no charitable deductibility under Swiss law.
