Change "NATURAL LANGUAGE" search mode for models with unsupported columns like "int"

I have a few models with unsupported columns for the "NATURAL_LANGUAGE" search mode.
For those I would like change the search mode to "LIKE". I think a property on the model would be nice in order to overwrite the default setting. Is this possible?
