This project is a place to build software together. Be decent to the people you're building it with.
- Assume good faith. Most disagreements are missing context, not bad intent.
- Keep it technical. Criticize the code, the design, or the idea — not the person.
- Accept that "no" is a valid answer, and that a maintainer's time is finite.
- Harassment, personal attacks, or demeaning comments — including about someone's identity, background, or experience level.
- Hate speech or sexualized language and imagery.
- Publishing anyone's private information without their permission.
- Sustained disruption: derailing threads, repeatedly reopening settled decisions, or filing in bad faith.
This applies in every project space — issues, discussions, pull requests, commit messages, and code review — and when representing the project elsewhere.
