🐛 [Bug] The "Alpine" Docker image is based on Debian with php 8.1 (EOL)

The current Docker image is based on php:8.1-fpm-bookworm. Php 8.1 is End Of Life (EOL) since January 1st 2026. The documentation also shows that it should be based on the lighter, leaner Alpine instead of Debian Bookworm.

Thank you @MrHaroldA for pointing this out. We have already replaced the "Alpine" Docker image with "Bookworm" since we had some missing support.

While PHP itself no longer supports PHP 8.1, some distros still do in their LTS versions.

For now, Cypht 2.x still supports PHP 8.1 but this could change at one point:

We moved off Alpine intentionally, not by oversight, see #1360. Alpine uses musl libc, whose glob() doesn't support GLOB_BRACE, which Cypht relied on to enumerate JS module files. Beyond that specific incompatibility, Alpine's minimal package set also made several other required PHP extensions (gnupg, imagick, etc.) harder to build reliably. Bookworm was chosen as a mainstream glibc-based replacement that avoided those compatibility issues.
