I'm not sure if this type of feedback is useful or not, but I wrote down some features that I'd like or am missing after switching from Windows File Explorer to Explorer++, and thought I'd share it. I also wrote down some bugs (not listed here) that I experienced that I'll create individual issues for.
Overall I've enjoyed Explorer++ much more than Windows File Explorer. I like that it remembers what tabs I had open when I close and re-open Explorer++, and the search functionality is nice too.
I am using Explorer++ version 1.5.0.2777 dev (64-bit build) on Windows 11.
Currently you can set the a "Default View" in the settings, and when you change view mode, your change is localized to the tab you had in the foreground. It'd be nice if there was a way to assign a default view mode for specific folders, so if you have a pictures folder you could set it's defualt view mode to Thumbnails. I'd imagine the order of what view mode takes priority would be something like this:
Global default view mode > Folder default view mode > Localized tab view mode
Currently there are only three thumbnail sizes to choose from: "Thumbnails", "Large thumbnails", and "Extra large thumbnails". It'd be nice if there was more options, or maybe a slider/value you could use to adjust the size more granularly.
When you hover over the Explorer++ icon on the taskbar, it displays a preview of every tab you have open in Explorer++. It'd be nice if there was a setting in the options to make it only display a preview of whatever tab is selected, instead of all of them. If you have "Allow multiple instances" on, and have multiple Explorer++ windows open, then there'd be one preview for each instance.
It'd be nice to be able to pin bookmarks to the right click context menu, when right clicking the Explorer++ icon on the taskbar. This feature may also need an option to decide whether clicking a bookmark opens the bookmark in a new tab, or in a new instance (if multiple instances is on).
A setting in the options that makes it so when you click on a bookmark, it first checks if that folder is already open in another tab, and if it is then just jump to that tab instead of opening a new one, otherwise open the bookmark like normal.
It'd be nice if I could drag files to their parent folders by either dragging the file onto the folder shown on the path, or by dragging the file onto the up arrow toolbar button.
Windows file explorer example (holding CTRL changes action from Move to Copy, I use CTRL for screenshots):
It'd be nice if there was a setting, maybe a value or slider that adjusts the size of the various parts of the toolbars and buttons. Also the ability to position the toolbar buttons individually, so I could put three of the toolbar buttons to right of the path bar, and three buttons to the left of it.
Often times when I drag a file to another window it scrolls slightly to the right in Explorer++, which I then have to scroll back to the left. It'd be nice to have a setting to stop that from happening, without having to reduce the number of columns in detail view.

Currently, middle clicking .lnk files seems to do nothing, but it'd be nice if it opened the linked folder in another tab,

Adding a setting in the options to set a maximum character limit for the names of tabs would be nice.
Windows file explorer example (different from my suggestion though):

Ctrl+Z & Ctrl+Y
Ctrl+Z to undo and Ctrl+Y to redo last action would be nice for when you accidentally move a file to recycle bin or something.
