Describe the bug
Sometimes when opening the recycle bin, it can take several seconds before it opens and it's folder contents are displayed.
This doesn't always happen, and I don't think it ever happens if I close the recycle bin folder, and then re-open it. As if it's contents have been cached or something so it's able to open immediately?
This also never occurs with any other folder or with Windows File Explorer, I've only experienced this delay when opening the recycle bin with Explorer++.
This happens fairly regularly but I've been unable to manually reproduce it, I'll try to get a recording of it happening.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Maybe don't open recycle bin for a while, and/or have lots of files in it?
- Add recycle bin as a bookmark
- Middle click the recycle bin bookmark to open it in a new tab
- See how delayed it is to open
Expected behavior
I'd think recycle bin should open about as fast or as slow as opening any other folder.
Version (please complete the following information):
- Explorer++ version: 1.5.0.2777 dev (64-bit build)
- OS: Windows 11
Additional context
I usually open the recycle bin by having it pinned as a bookmark, and middle clicking the bookmark to open it in a new tab.
