bro i wonder how to modify descriptions font-size
because for me its too big :)

however if we could define font-size...

would be nice to match it other components on the screen globally
im changing font withing card_mod, but ... would be nice to set compat mode fromm ui anyway

i think would be nice to count alerts per navigation_path url - do you think this is is possible?

this addon is working on demand i mean its triggered while someone is opening dashboard - do im right?
so if noone will use home assistant - all clients totally logged off - it will stop sending notifications? do im right?

To be honest this is only the one thing fine I was looking for years and finally it was even coded by AI. I did my changes ofcourse and fixes

First I used google street view to take screenshot of my house The Google Maps satellite view to capture roof of my house

I used only free version of Gemini and asked to generate me Sims4 and Sim City like but modern 3d isometric asset of my home in weather and season condition: xxxxx

Where xxx is winter/autumn/spring/summer (add season integration in ha first) Where xxx also contains day and night to generate lights on from the window rooms (you need night shade sensor or use sun sensor from integration) Basically at this step you don’t need to do EXTRAS!!!! EXTRAS generate above with fog using clouds around house for each season and day/night, also rainy useful for spring time and autumn with orange/brown 🍂🍁 around the house

Quick answers to your three questions:

1 — Font size
The card_mod workaround you found is the right approach for now. Built-in font size controls aren't in the editor yet but are on my radar for a future update.

2 — Badge on navbar
Not possible with this card — the navbar badge counter is a Home Assistant core feature that only the platform itself can drive, not a custom Lovelace card. One workaround is to use a template sensor that counts active alerts and display it separately.

3 — Works only when the dashboard is active

This depends on overlay_mode:

Without overlay_mode: the card only renders when the dashboard view is loaded in the browser. No dashboard = no notifications.
With overlay_mode: true: a background watcher polls HA state every 2 seconds and fires an overlay banner even when you navigate to a different dashboard view — but it still requires at least one browser tab with HA open. If all clients are logged off, nothing is running and no notifications fire.
For truly push-based notifications when no client is connected, you'd need HA automations with notify (mobile app, Telegram, email, etc.) — that runs server-side regardless of browser state.
