Give the user possibility to enable compatibility mode in yaml
The idea is to model a compatibility mode (e.g. eCAL 5.x, 6.0, 6.1). This will keep the current release compatible for communicating with an eCAL Release back to that version.
It doesn't have to be used for the mutex only, but could be used for monitoring or other relevant features.
