Well, fre:ac wouldn't move the files after the conversion. Could it be that you have some music library management software installed that automatically organizes newly appearing files into it's own folder structure? Windows has file system hooks, so such a tool could watch the file system and be notified of every newly appearing file and immediately move it. |

Hi,
I am converting my flac and mp3 320s to mp3 160s to transfer to my phone. I have them in the following directory structure: Group, album, songs. While they are converting, the file structure is correct and I can spot check the mp3's and they are all fine.
But once the conversion is done, everything is moved to be in the following structure: album, songs, and the mp3's are all gone even though when I look at the directory properties, it shows the correct gigabyte size as if the files are still there.
For my output file, I have the following structure /. My encoder is set to LAME MP3 Encoder v3.100 with the bitrate set to 160kbs. I have my output directory set as E:\Music-Converted. I am converting it from D:\music-new
