Feedback on Gemini 3.5 Flash support

It appears that, starting with v0.45.1 (stable) and v0.45.0-preview.0, Gemini Code Assist Standard/Enterprise users can now use gemini-3.5-flash in Gemini CLI.

My understanding is that this update corresponds to the following statement in the blog post An important update: Transitioning Gemini CLI to Antigravity CLI

If your organization uses Gemini CLI or our IDE extensions via a Gemini Code Assist Standard or Enterprise license, or if your organization uses Gemini Code Assist for GitHub through Google Cloud, your access remains unchanged. We’ll continue to support Gemini CLI and Gemini Code Assist with access to the latest Gemini models and other updates.

Now that many of the users who likely made up the majority of Gemini CLI users — such as Google AI Pro / AI Ultra users — are leaving Gemini CLI, I think it may be important to have a place where people can share feedback about the Gemini 3.5 Flash experience in Gemini CLI.

In my own experience, there seems to be an issue where the google_web_search tool does not return results when using Gemini 3.5 Flash.
