No telemetry received from AM32 esc

Replaced BLHeli_32 with AM32 (latest fw)
Connected T from Esc to Rx on FC
Enabled one on ports page.
Set temperature and rpm on osd.

And nothing, it was working with blheli but not with am32.
AM32 claims to support "KISS standard ESC telemetry" no idea if one is different from protocol used by blheli

Have you enabled serial telemetry in the ESC firmware?

That should enable it. Mine is also not working. Not sure if I can be bothered to connect a scope to the UART wire.

I think I'm encountering the same issue in INAV 9.0.0. I don't have the OSD hardware installed yet to verify in that way, but the RPM is not being recorded to the blackbox logs as I would expect, and there is no indication of RPM within the motors tab when manually running the motor (which I know betaflight does show, but may not be a feature in INAV)? I do have the "30ms interval telemetry" switch enabled in the AM32 configurator. I'm using the TBS LUCID WING AIO which has the ESC built-in, and sends the ESC telemetry on UART7, which is configured for ESC output/telemetry at 115200 baud in the ports tab.

Telemetry is normally done by sending the telemetry request bit with the dshot signal. Tbs esc uses pb6 for telemetry and is workign.

Thanks for the clarification (though it would be good to have that made slightly clearer in the configuration interface, as it is that's the only telemetry-related switch, and the only comments above mention enabling it in an attempt to enable telemetry, suggesting it's confusing to others as well).

After turning off that setting, I'm still not seeing any RPM recorded in the blackbox logs, or other signs that telemetry is being properly received and recorded. Edit: Nevermind, I see that it actually was recorded, under the name escRPM in blackbox. Thanks for the help!

Using Micoair h743V2 & their 70A 4in1 AM32 ESC stack, can't get esc telemetry working (inav 9.0.1). No esc temp, rpm shown in OSD, no voltage, amps values through esc , only through adc.

@knputyi couple things to note. Telemetry is working. It must be requested by dshot to send it but I doubt the current and voltage can be read by the esc's. It's unlikely they routed those to 4 different mcus. The current and voltage are probably only handled by the fc usign the adc out.

I got the same problem with JHEF435 (INAV 9.0.1) + FlyingRC AM32 4IN1 (AM32_F4A_4IN1_F421).
I already setup:

• ESC/telemetry output port
• esc_sensor_listen_only = OFF (allow FC to send telemetry request bit to ESC)
• protocol DSHOT600
• disable 30ms auto telemetry (so esc will return telemetry data when get request bit at dshot frame from FC)
