Transfer `django-payments` out of Jazzband?

With Jazzband officially winding down, I wanted to bring this up. Similar to jazzband/django-push-notifications#797, it looks like this project has not been transferred out yet.

In that issue, I suggested moving django-push-notifications to Django Commons, and I was wondering whether there are any plans to do the same for this project as well.

If so, I would be happy to help with the transfer process and contribute to the ongoing maintenance of django-payments afterward.

Hi! I believe @jezdez will likely coordinate the move at some point.

Since I'm currently the primary maintainer of the project, my preference would be to move it under my own namespace rather than to django-commons. I'm happy to help with the transition and coordinate the necessary steps.
