Expert options ?

I am missing expert options (cmd/ctrl+shift+X) in the app.

I'd like to have the option to specify the start folder rather than manually browsing to the images folder from the home folder. And default another value for number of images per bunch which appears now to be hardcoded at 10.

What are you missing? Once you select expert options when you double-click a module you can see expert options. You can also click "Show expert options" when you are editing a module

You can go to "Shine Stacker" > "Settings" and you can customize the "Input folder path". For images there is at the moment a bug reported in #36 that is already fixed, and will be released in next version shortly.

The fix to second issue you reported concerning the start folder has been released in version 1.15.2. Please, let me know if you still find problems with this release.

I see them, but am still missing number of images per bunch in Settings.

For images there is at the moment a bug reported in #36 that is already fixed, and will be released in next version shortly.

The input path folder works now, it starts in the specified folder in Settings.

You can double-click the bounches module and set the number of frames and number of overlappint frames. Maybe I should use a more explanatory label:

This I changed to 4 frames and 2 overlapping ones and the working path to /tmp (because I don't need it anymore),
but when creating a new project, it reverts to the default values (no folder, 2 resp 0).

In the Settings screen it is set to 10 and 0 and here default 2 and 0 ? Why is that not consistent ?

When you create a new project, the default is 10 frames with two overlapping. You can change this either when you create a new project, or after you created the new project, double-clicking on the bunches module.

On my tests, this seems to work as expected.

Is there anything wrong you see with this?

I could add a parameter in the setting specifying the default to use when creating a new job, which at the moment is fixed (10, 2). Is this maybe what you requested?

I just made a project in which 4 frames per bunch are and a fixed folder.
I can replace the photos in the folder with others for a new run and re-use the project file, so making a defult setting for frame count is not that important.
But what might be useful, is putting the intermediate files in a discardable folder such as /tmp and specify a folder for the final result.

At the moment, intermediate files must be stored in a folder within the project working path, /tmp is not allowed. But you can clean intermediate files going to the menu action:

"Jobs" > "Clear Project Output"

When you close a project, the same dialog prompts for an optiona project cleanup, if you wish,
