MCP Engine License (Proprietary)

By downloading, installing, or using the MCP Engine
("Software"), you agree to these terms.


DEFINITIONS

"Organization" means the legal entity that obtained the Software (and
its employees and contractors acting on its behalf).

"Third party" means any person or entity not part of the Organization.


1. LICENSE GRANT

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to
install and use the Software as provided in binary form for your own
internal use by authorized users within your Organization.


2. PERMITTED USE

You may use the Software to:

  - Connect to your own Power BI Desktop / local Analysis Services model
    for management and analysis

  - Integrate with MCP clients such as Claude Desktop / Claude Code in
    your own environment

Commercial use means internal use within your Organization, not resale,
embedding, or hosting for third parties.

You are solely responsible for any credentials, tokens, permissions, and
access control used with the Software.


3. PROHIBITED USE

You may not:

  - Modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, reverse
    engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive
    source code from the Software

  - Redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, sell, transfer, or make the
    Software available to any third party

  - Use the Software to provide services to third parties, including as
    a hosted service, SaaS, service bureau, shared endpoint, or API
    backend for any application accessible by users other than you or
    your Organization

  - Expose the Software (or its functionality) over a network to enable
    third-party access (including forwarding or relaying requests from
    external users)

  - Use the Software in any system where external users can indirectly
    access its functionality (including via your application, proxy, or
    automation layer)

  - Remove or alter copyright notices or proprietary markings

Source code is not provided.


4. OWNERSHIP

The Software is proprietary. All title and intellectual property rights
remain with Maxim Anatsko.


5. TERMINATION

This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically
if you breach these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the
Software and delete all copies.


6. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.


7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IN NO EVENT SHALL MAXIM ANATSKO, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR
ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS
INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO USE OF THE SOFTWARE, HOWEVER
CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY.


8. SUPPORT

Support, maintenance, and updates are provided at the Author's discretion
and are not guaranteed.


9. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, excluding
conflict of laws principles.


10. MICROSOFT DISCLAIMER

This Software is independent community-developed software and is not
affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Microsoft Corporation.
Microsoft product names are trademarks of their respective owners.
