Feature Request: User Roles & Permissions Management in Vendor Panel

Summary

Currently, the Vendor Panel does not support managing user roles and permissions.
All users added under Settings → Team appear to have the same access level, with no ability to restrict actions or assign different roles.

This creates a security and operational limitation for vendors who need to give limited access to their staff (e.g., accountants, inventory managers, order processors).

Current Behavior

• Vendors can view the team members list.
• There is no option to:
  • Assign roles (Admin / Staff / Viewer)
  • Configure permissions
  • Restrict access to sensitive sections (payments, commissions, settings, etc.)

Expected Behavior

Vendors should be able to manage team users with role-based access control (RBAC), including:

Proposed Roles (Example)

Role	Access
Owner / Admin	Full access to everything
Manager	Orders, products, inventory, promotions
Finance	Commission, invoices, payments, payout history
Support Staff	Orders only (view/update status)
Viewer	Read-only access

Why This Is Important

• Vendors often have multiple employees.
• Sensitive financial actions (commission payments, pricing edits) should not be available to all staff.
• Helps prevent mistakes and improves security.

Acceptance Criteria

• Vendor can invite users and assign them a role.
• Each role controls access to specific pages/actions.
• Restricted users cannot access pages directly via URL.
• Admin can update roles and revoke access at any time.

Hello. We are currently working on new major Mercur version and changing direction on how new features will be added to Mercur Here is podcast with Mercur team on new direction. This RBAC would be a registry block that we would develop after delivering Mercur core and default registry blocks. Stay tuned.
