Currently (Giada 1.4.1) if you stop a sample in loop mode that is shorter than the sequencer, the sample stops playing as soon as it reaches the end of the audio data. This is not super intuitive and useful IMHO, and also error-prone: it's easy to leave a "gap" in the song because you stopped the sample in the middle of the sequencer. The sample should keep looping until the last beat instead, and then stop.
