Ghost window, to have half screen empty

Hello. I use one monitor in vertical position, and in one of the workspaces it would be useful to have the half top of the screen with an application, and the half bottom empty (it helps in neck position, and the size of the window is quite irrelevant for this app).

I usually open spotify and put it there, down, to make room. But that does not make much sense to waste resources just for tiling windows.

Is there something I am missing?

Hi, @zhenpewu, I had that same behavior with pycharm, but that is not what I was asking for.
I want exactly to create such ghost windows. I want to tile between a window and... nothing.
So, something like a "window placeholder" that might be empty, or filled.
