[Need help] Window focus by hotkey triggers annoying window moving and resizing

For the past two to three weeks, a problem has occurred whenever a window is focused using a mapped key in Aerospace, regardless of whether the focus or workspace command is used.

The sequence is as follows:

1. the window becomes focused,
2. then after about half a second it flickers due to a quick resize and move,
3. and finally snaps back to its defined position and size.

Although the process happens quickly, the flickering is bothersome.

• The Aerospace configuration has been checked and reverted to an older version with no change,
• system settings have been reviewed with many macOS key mappings disabled,
• and all third-party apps have been closed,
• yet no solution has been found.

The issue occurs on macOS 26.2 25C56 arm64 with Aerospace

AeroSpace.app server version: 0.20.2-Beta 1a8128c53b231bac7e46917468d50b4f15ad30f7

It is unclear whether the cause is the latest macOS update or the new Aerospace version or something else.

Did anyone experience the same issue?

Update 1: I tested the 0.19 versions of Aerospace, and the effect remains the same. I conclude that the issue isn’t due to Aerospace updates in recent weeks.
