focussing wrong window when switching workspaces #1937

Hello, I was going to make a more in depth discussion post but I'd like to see if this is an issue other people are having, or if it's more likely that my configuration is causing this. I couldn't find any other issues but I can't say for certain that one doesn't exist and I'm just not understanding how other posts are phrasing it. I have one external monitor and my laptop below it. If I have 2 windows of the same application open (any application. chrome, terminal, etc.), both in different workspaces, with one workspace on the external monitor and the other on my built in display; if I switch to a workspace where one of those windows will be focussed, the focus/workspace will jump to the opposite window/display. I can see this being an issue with configuration, but it seems more like an inherit issue with switching focus/workspaces. This has been very frustrating and I've had to avoid having more than one window of the same application open in separate workspaces. Any help/response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time! |

Sounds like #101 To summarize: it's a bug in macOS API of focusing windows. There is a workaround to disable 'Displays have separate Spaces' |
