Qtvlm add on not downloading

Hey guys,
New user here. Hi all XD

When I run the add on for qtvlm in terminal I get a 500 internal server error.

Then it says
Gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
Tar: this does not look like a tar archive
Tar: exiting with failure status due to previous errors.

Just to say qtvlm is in the navigation section of the app drop down. Click it nothing happens.

Am I going to have to figure out how to install it via download?

FYI I did run sudo apt-get update & upgrade before I did this.

I've downloaded the app, I can get it to run...but I don't know how to put it in the application menu correctly.

Can't find it on this forum if I do a search

It did create a link in the app menu even with a icon.

But I click on it & nothing opens.

Also, would you kindly explain how I can get it into the navigation folder of the application menu...but getting it to run from the application menu is more important.

Last but not least can I edit the nodejs (I believe it's called) like in this link

So if I click charts it will open qtVlm?

Thanks, I do hope these haven't been asked before. I did do a search but I such limited knowledge I don't properly know what to search for.
