Cheap radio controller

I'm interested in this awesome project.
I'm gonna build the advanced quadcopter.
The only issue is radio master controller/receiver is expensive for me.
Is there any alternative? Like using lora module/ps2 controller?

Thanks for trying madflight. Maybe look around for a cheap used PPM transmitter/receiver, for example a Spektrum DX6i. Or spend time to write your own RCIN Driver code for lora/wifi/esp-now.

Another idea is to use:

• mavlink on madflight, connected to an esp32 with dronebridge as wifi receiver
• pc/tablet/phone with qgroundcontrol with virtual joystick as transmitter
