I suppose your page has js code that scrolls to anchor position.

Daisyui has JS code to scroll page to anchor

This is expected behavior because of anchor links.
In HTML anchor links like href="#slide1" scroll to the element with slide1 ID, both horizontally AND vertically.

I'm working on another method for carousels that wouldn't need anchor links. Will be added to the library in version 5.2 or 5.3

But it's not supported on iOS Safari and in Firefox unfortunately. We can start using it about a year after these browsers start supporting it.

The other CSS-only approach would be using radio inputs to manage which image is chosen.
