BonkLM helps you keep large language models (LLMs) safe by adding guardrails. It stops bad prompts and detects dangerous or unwanted content. You get a clear, step-by-step setup wizard to make it easy for anyone to protect their LLMs. You don’t need any coding skills to use it.
BonkLM works on Windows and uses Node.js behind the scenes. It checks for common security issues like prompt injections and jailbreak attempts. It is designed for users who want to add an extra layer of security when using AI text generation.
Before you start, make sure your PC meets these:
- Windows 10 or later
- At least 4 GB of free RAM
- At least 500 MB of free disk space
- Internet connection during setup for downloading files
- Administrator rights to install software
- Node.js version 16 or higher (If you don’t have it, you'll find a link in the setup)
To get bonklm on your Windows PC, follow these steps:
Click the big button above or visit this link directly:

Once on the GitHub page, follow these steps:
On the page, look for the green “Code” button on the right side, above the file list. Click it and choose Download ZIP to save the full software to your computer. This ZIP file contains everything you need.
Alternatively, you may see a “Releases” section on the repository. That is another way to download ready-made files.
After downloading, open the ZIP file by double-clicking it.
- Click “Extract All” at the top of the window.
