Mac App Needs Probe/RFComm Channel 2 Issue

Just starting 2 days ago and presently my carthing is not working with my mac app. It boots, connects to bluetooth, my mac and nocturne desktop app recognizes bluetooth connection is active but then gives the error:
Needs Probe. macOS reports nocturne as connected, but the connector could not open RFCOMM channel 2.
I've restarted carthing numerous times, forced closed the desktop app, restarted macbook pro, disabled/enabled bluetooth.

are you using an older version of it? i believe in the macos companion settings, it says 1.0 (44) as the version if its the old one. i did just release a new version that fixes the version number, so i would try that. the new version is under https://github.com/usenocturne/nocturne-connector/releases/tag/v2.1.0 and has 1.0 (277) as the version.
