The zone statistics, flamegraph, compare, etc. are really powerful for analyzing zones in aggregate. As far as I can tell these work only on zone timings.
It would be useful for me to be able to use those tools with an alternative metric source attached to each zone. eg. I have a hardware counter setup to measure l3 cache fill requests per-zone. I don't believe there's a way I can attach these numbers to a zone and use the statistics tools to view in aggregate?
I'm aware there's the sampling profiler but I'd prefer seeing this at the zone level rather than the line-level.
If this doesnt exist then consider this a feature/enhancement request :)
