My .xpipe folder is almost 1GB in size on fresh install

Looking inside, it seems like 360MB is used up by a .git folder (should that even be there?), and 185MB by the installer. The rest is icon files (you can probably reduce those in size as well).

The installer is expected for the updater.

About the .git dir, do you sync? If yes, then it creates a git directory. But the size is quite large for a git dir, do you have any large files put into the storage/data dir?

the exact .git dir is C:\Users\User\.xpipe\cache\icons\pool\selfhst\.git

my storage/data dir is empty

Oh I see, it clones https://github.com/selfhst/icons. I guess that is quite large. I will look into maybe not cloning the entire history
