  • Retrieve Turn Server Credentials

    Rendering servers know their turn server when they are allocated in Azure. URL, Username & Password of turn server needs to be shared with the streaming clients after a pair has been decided by the signaling server. Signaling server needs to notify server that it needs to send credentials, and the ID of the peer to send to. Rendering server needs to send the credentials to the client by peer ID over the channel open on signaling server. Clients need to receive credentials, and connect to the rendering server.

  • Create QA task as part of the Azure Batch create pool

  • Update Azure batch to use Application model instead of custom image

    Azure batch has the ability to upload and deploy specific applications inside a pool. This is a preferred way to deploy applications at scale as it does not require the creation of a custom image. Acceptance criteria: - Ability to create Nodes with pre-built images - Ability to install/update drivers - Ability to download specific applications and run them

  • Workload VM image creation

    The workflow of the orchestrator is to stand up (and tear down) workload VMs. The action of creating the workload VM will be to use a custom image that is configured to run the MultithreadedServer service. This should be an out-of-the-box working image of the workload.

  • Develop an orchestrator responsible for managing pools of VMs and TURN servers

    We need an orchestrator that can spin up pools of NV Series VMs running 3DToolkit Windows Server 2016 images with TURN servers based on configuration. It must be capable of spinning up new pools when active users are reaching a threshold. Configuration includes: Max number of live users Max number of users per VM Max number of VMs per TURN server Acceptance criteria: Validate the configuration rule book with unit tests.
