to use

• select a model to animate
• in the properties sidebar, click on the barely visible button to the right of delete which says add to timeline or something like.
• then you can select the same object in the upper-left hand theatre scene ui
• then use the upper-right hand theatre properties panel to create a keyframe (click twice on the diamond on the left side of the position property)
• then on the theatre timeline panel move the playhead ~5 seconds in the future
• then use the theatre properties panel to move the objects position to a new value
• then click on the timeline again and use the spacebar to play

so many things don't work

• should be able to use the 3dstreet property editor instead of the theatre version
• 3dstreet editor controls time = 0
• when time is not = 0, all other properties should not be editable except the animated properties
• in the background, when time is not = 0, then the editable properties are sent to theatre js
