Hi @Rush74

The failure is

Warning: The version string in ./spack.yaml hasn't been modified in this PR, but needs to be before merging.

which means that line 9 hasn't been modified and the CI thinks this PR is trying to make a new release with an existing version number.

If you set the PR to draft it will skip the check

@claireyung and @edoyango made a debug executable, I suggest trying #120 first :)

That executable looks good so far. I'll update the Hive thread. I'm glad someone else has benefitted from all our struggles ;)
