Prerelease using latest NOAA-GFDL/MOM6 with Claire's ice-shelf changes

This PR is to deploy a prerelease using the dev/gfdl+access+isf branch of MOM6. This branch is:

• based on the current latest NOAA-GFDL/MOM6:dev/gfdl (NOAA-GFDL/MOM6@ae752b6)
• includes ACCESS changes from the 2026.01 branch
• includes @claireyung's ice shelf changes.

Compiler flag changes from #142 are also included.

This prerelease could possibly replace #142, pending approval from @claireyung.

while building access3. I think this is running out of memory. I can reproduce the failure using my own spack instance on a login node, but can build successfully on a SR compute node.

Usage Instructions

access-om3, defined in ./spack.yaml, will be deployed to Gadi as:

• 2025.08.001 as a Release (when merged).
• pr189-6 as a Prerelease (during this PR).

This Prerelease is accessible on Gadi using:

module use /g/data/vk83/prerelease/modules
module load access-om3/pr189-6

When using the above modules, the binaries shall be on your $PATH.

For advanced users, this Prerelease is also accessible on Gadi via /g/data/vk83/prerelease/apps/spack/0.22/spack in the access-om3-pr189-6 environment.
Due to inode-saving measures, one will have to manually untar the environment metadata before environment activation with tar -xf .spack-env .spack-env.tar. It will require one to have write privileges.

Configuration Information

This Prerelease is deployed using:

• access-nri/spack on branch 0.22
• access-nri/spack-packages version 2025.08.003
• access-nri/spack-config version 2026.02.000

If the above was not what was expected, commit changes to config/versions.json in this PR.
