User Compatibility
Multiplayer mod is generally not compatible with other mods. Unless specifically listed here, you should assume that other mods are incompatible and may cause issues when used alongside the Multiplayer mod.
Mods that are compatible with the Multiplayer mod fall into three categories:
- Host Only: These mods only need to be installed on the host's game. They have no effect if installed on other players' games.
- Host + Players (Required): These mods must be installed on both the host's game and all players' games to function correctly.
- Host + Players (Optional): These mods must be installed on the host's game, but are optional for other players. They may provide additional features if installed on players' games.
Some mods may partially work if both the host and players have them installed. In these cases, all players typically need to perform the same action at roughly the same time for the mod to function correctly.
The following table lists mods that are known to be compatible with the Multiplayer mod, along with their compatibility category and version requirements:
| Mod Name | Compatibility | Minimum Multiplayer Version | Minimum Mod Version | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Remote Dispatcher | Host Only | 0.1.0.0+ | N/A | No effect if clients have this mod |
| Booklet Organiser | Host Only | 0.1.8.4+ | N/A | No effect if clients have this mod |
Some mods may work partially with the Multiplayer mod. These mods typically require synchronized actions from all players. If you discover any mods that fall into this category, please let us know so we can update this list.
All mods not listed in the compatibility table above should be considered incompatible with the Multiplayer mod. Using incompatible mods may result in game crashes, desynchronisation, or other unexpected behavior.
If you've tested a mod with the Multiplayer mod and found it to be compatible or partially compatible, please report your findings to our Discord server or through our official channels. Include the following information:
- Name of the mod
- Version of the mod tested
- Version of the Multiplayer mod used
- Compatibility category (Host Only, Host + Players Required, Host + Players Optional)
- Any specific notes or observations about functionality
Your reports help us keep this compatibility list up-to-date and useful for the community.
Remember, when in doubt, it's best to assume a mod is incompatible unless explicitly stated otherwise in this list.
