Interesting... it appears scikit-build-core-0.11 has dropped support for Python-3.7, with a commit merged three weeks ago. According to https://pypistats.org/packages/openexr, it looks like Py37 wheels make up ~1% of total downloads from pypi, so maybe it's safe to for OpenEXR to drop support for 3.7 moving forward. Might be worth discussing aligning policies across all wheels-producing ASWF projects... (For reference: https://endoflife.date/python) |

@zachlewis, thanks for the investigation! It's probably safe to drop python 3.7, but we'll discuss it in the next TSC meeting. |
