v0.8.0 - Configurable Keybinds
This initial release adds keybinds and keybind configuration to MC7D.
A few things to be aware of:
- Camera rotation is not tracked. If you rotate the camera so the Front facet is on the Left, it will still be gripped by Z(-1) instead X(-1). However if you grip all layers of a puzzle (default binding is
Xas in hsc) and rotate the puzzle with that, then the facets will be gripped as you would expect. - There is no on screen keyboard to inspect your keybinds, you will have to go into the Edit Keybinds window to see what keys do
- Facets are gripped by an axis + layer instead of facet names, because I don't think there are standard facet names for 6th and 7th axis. Negative numbers can be used to pick the last layer of an axis independent of total puzzle layers.
- I have only tested this on a 5D solve, default keybindings or even the behavior may not be ideal in 6D+
- You can copy any existing settings file you have into the folder you extract this zip to. Keybinds (and anything else I add to this fork) will be stored in a separate file so your settings file should remain compatible with the original MC7D
