Before installing slidemason, make sure your system meets these basic requirements:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit versions recommended)
- At least 4 GB of RAM
- 500 MB of free disk space
- Internet connection for initial download only

Import Your Document
Click the “Import” button to select a document you want to use. slidemason supports PDF files and simple text documents. -
Choose AI Agent
Select Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or any other AI agent you want to generate slides with. The app runs all AI processes locally; there is no need to enter API keys or sign in. -
Generate Slides
Press “Generate” to let the AI build your slide deck. Wait a few moments — the length and complexity of your document affect the time. -
Review Slides
Go through the slides in the preview section. You can make edits by clicking on any slide to adjust text or order. -
Export Your Presentation
When finished, click “Export” to save your presentation. Choose PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF format.
- App won’t start: Restart your computer and try again. Check if Windows Defender or antivirus blocked the app.
- Import errors: Make sure your files are not damaged and are standard PDF or text formats.
- Slow slide generation: Larger documents take longer. Close other apps to free up system memory.
- Export issues: Check that you have write permission to the folder where you save slides.
