Hi Tom, thanks for the report. IIRC the crash is the reason why we recommend MCC 2.2.2 at https://alleninstitute.github.io/MIES/installation.html#installation-using-the-installer-preferred. I'll check with @timjarsky if we should make that a check in the installer. |

Hi all,
We were installing a new win11 PC. We found an incompatibility issue of MIES (MIES-Release_2.8_20240925-309-g7a64ce911) on Igor Pro 9.05 (Nightly build) with Multiclamp 700B commander 2.2.1. The XOP "MultiClamp700xCommander64.xop" causes IGOR to crash on startup, even with Multiclamp Commander (and the device) not opened or active. Removing the "MultiClamp700xCommander64.xop" file from the MIES/XOPS-IP9-64bit folder allowed MIES to start normally (consequentially without being able to connect to the Multiclamp 700B).
Upgrading Multiclamp 700B Commander to version 2.2.2 solves the issue.
