Event Horizon Runner: A Fun Survival Game with Realistic Physics!

Welcome to Event Horizon Runner! It's a fun survival game I put together using HTML5 Canvas with realistic physics.

Built with a little help from Gemini 3 Pro.

Let's Play!

The Goal: Grab 10 of those floating Warp Cores (the cyan orbs) so you can charge up and escape the gravity well!

Watch Out: Steer clear of the giant Black Hole in the middle and try not to crash into the asteroid debris floating around.

Controls:

Arrow Keys / WASD: Fly around and rotate your ship.

Spacebar: Hit the brakes to stabilize.

Touch: Playing on your phone? Just use the on-screen buttons.

How to Play Event Horizon Runner

  • Objective: Grab 10 Warp Cores to charge up and escape the gravity well.
  • Hazards: Avoid the giant Black Hole and asteroid debris.
  • Controls: Arrow Keys / WASD to fly, Spacebar to stabilize, Touch for mobile.

Getting it Live

Good news—this project sets itself up automatically on GitHub Pages using GitHub Actions. Easy peasy!
