@tari01: we should start working on this after the 0.9.x releases. However, I sense we should bring basic support for GTK-4 rather sooner than later. |

I have put together some CMake rules to build Ayatana IDO against GTK+-4.0. However, we need to port GtkMenuItem et al. over to GtkPopoverMenu:
